Tour de Cure

On June 2nd, Masons throughout District 2 assisted riders in the annual Tour de Cure, a yearly cycling event supporting the American Diabetes Association.  Freedom Lodge reassumed its postion providing support and nourishment to riders at the Rectortown rest stop, an effort graciously coordinated and spearheaded by Brother Matt Duley. Loudoun Masonic Events

Brethren from all Lodges in District 2 turned out for 2 days of activities.  On May 9, Wayne Sawyer Flora, Grand Master of Masons in Virginia, made his Official Visit to the District hosted by Ashburn-Sterling Lodge.  The next morning, Freedom Lodge performed a pair of Masonic good deeds by hosting a VA CHIP table and Blood Drive.         Thank you to all the Brother from Freedom that turned out to support these activities and the community.   A special word of thanks to Carol McGarrah for providing all the wonderful desserts!!
